Diamond Sounds 3: CBS Radio Mystery Theater

CBS Radio Mystery Theater was a radio program started in 1975 by broadcaster Hiram Brown as an attempt to bring back quality 'old time radio' in the age of TV sitcoms and bad Hollywood movies. I remember listening to it before falling asleep as a kid. It had a huge impact on the development of my imagination and creativity and I'll never forget it. The series went off the air in 1982 after producing 1399 episodes. I was so happy when I found some episodes archived on Internet Archive (http://www.archive.org). This episode is entitled 'Alexander Part 5: The Legend Begins' and was part of a week long series dramatizing the life of Alexander The Great. 'And until next time...pleasant dreams...' |
